Reflection Outward:
Life’s journey is filled with lessons. Some experiences leave deep marks on the soul, unforgettable. Yet many only remember their mistakes for a while—until time passes and old habits return, just as the ancients said: “Old tendencies resurface.”
To reverse the cycle of reincarnation is not in the hands of the gods—it lies in one’s own self-discipline and inner vows. Since you’ve chosen the path of spiritual cultivation and worship, begin with recognizing your own faults and strive to change.
Sadly, human nature is weak. Pain brings momentary clarity, but when desire arises, we forget the pain. Cough syrup, alcohol, gambling—they’re all alike. We know the harm, yet we return to them.
That’s why physical, mental, and spiritual balance is crucial. Without it, how can one truly cultivate?
On the eve of the Holy Birthday of Dong Yueh Zushi, CCG Zushi compassionately reminds us: everyone bears karma. Yet some karmic consequences can be avoided—and the wisdom lies in knowing when and how. Never knowingly walk into danger; that is not courage, but foolishness.
If one knowingly invites negative karma and stubbornly commits wrongdoing without remorse, even Dong Yueh Zushi will not allow it. On the righteous judgment platform, all verdicts are fair and precise—without a shred of error.
Awakening Inward:
The Dao and its practices evolve with time. Though ancient methods are profound, they may not fully suit the present age. Every era has its unique rhythm of change. The key lies in how we bring ancient wisdom into the modern world in a way that inspires trust—that is true intelligence.
Some teachings require logic and discernment to explain clearly. Only through wisdom can these truths touch the hearts of others. Disciples of CCG must understand: cultivation is not mere chanting and rituals, but the lived experience of life’s sorrows and sweetness. Only through firsthand trials can one speak authentically of the Way.
When you are able to share your experiences, it becomes clear how the Zushi is guiding you on the right path. Even if you stumble along the way, do not give up—for life in this world is itself a journey of atonement.
Falling, illness, injury—these unnecessary misfortunes may be manifestations of karma you’ve created. May each of you awaken through these trials. Reflect on the suffering in your life: how much could have been avoided? And how much was caused by your own attachments?
On this sacred day of Dong Yueh Zushi’s Holy Birthday, reflect sincerely upon your life. The Book Without Words will naturally reveal itself before your eyes.
With outmost reverence to CCG Zushi
